Happy Dance!!! I found the description for Girl of the Year 2011 Book 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOTY 2011 - UPDATED

So I read on Doll Diaries that the 2011 girl of the year will most likely be Hawaiian and her name will be Kanani! After reading that, I decided to snoop around myself and I found the synopsis for book 1. How exciting! I can't wait to see what she looks like! I posted two different screen shots of book stores with the same description for book one. I will keep searching for a picture of the cover!

AND, with some more research today, I discovered that Book 2 for GOTY 2011 is called "Good Job Kanani". (Check out the page title/URL.)

Journey Girls Part 2

Yesterday I saw the Journey Girls dolls in ToysRUs. They look like they are about the same quality as the Our Generation dolls in Target. That's not really a surprise because really, what do you expect for $29.99? Anyway, I was slightly disappointed to find out that they do not have sleep eyes. The eyes are wide open all of the time. The other thing that disappointed me was their shoes. They have chunky plastic shoes. :( The Our Generation shoes are plastic and I hate them. I wish these companies would make shoes like American Girl. The outfits didn't look too bad and paired with a nice pair of shoes, it wouldn't be a bad deal if you were looking for an inexpensive way to expand your dolls wardrobe. The box for the Loftbed set is surprisingly small so I'm guessing it's in a bunch of pieces. I was really hoping they would have a display with one of the bedroom sets put together but they didn't. They did have all four dolls in stock, several outfits in stock, and at least 4 boxes of the bedroom set. So, if you're interested in Journey Girls or just want to check them out, there's a pretty good chance that you can find them in your local ToysRUs without too much of a problem.

Journey Girls

Today I was looking for 18 inch dolls, outfits, and accessories online and I found "Journey Girls" on the ToysRUs website. Has anyone ever seen these dolls in the stores? Does anyone have one? If so, what do you think about them? The dolls are 18 inches and they each sell for $29.99. They also sell several outfits for them for 12.99 each. There are four different dolls to choose from:
They also sell a bedroom set for the Journey Girls! It's a loft bed sized for 18 inch dolls and it even comes with bedding and accessories!!!! I don't know how well it's made but I think it's a fantastic deal! ***Whoops! I forgot to mention that the loft bedroom set is only $49.99!!! That's an awesome price for all that you get!***

Pictures for Friday

It's Friday and I love Fridays so I decided to post two pictures of Claire this morning. I took these last night. Last night she came along with me to a few stores and out to Red Robin with my family for dinner. Claire had fun! lol! I have pictures from her night out at Red Robin that I will put on the blog soon. When we were leaving Red Robin, I asked for a balloon to be blown up half way for Claire. All the way would have been freakishly huge. The second picture in this post is Claire proudly holding her Red Robin balloon. Happy Friday everyone!!

Nothing much

I don't have much new to share. I've been enjoying fall and haven't been on the computer very much. This is my favorite time of year. I didn't want you all to think I have stopped blogging though. Nope...not even close. ;) I also felt bad for not posting a new picture recently so I decided to post this one tonight. I took it today. I really like it! I hope you do too! Maybe I will post some more pictures tomorrow. I have some cute ones to share. Are you all enjoying fall as much as I am?
